Why some letters are missing
Q, X and Z are left off by default because almost nothing starts with them, which stalls most word games. Add them back to the list if you want the full alphabet.
Games to play
- Categories: spin a letter, then everyone names an animal, a country and a food starting with it.
- Phonics: spin and say the sound, or find something in the room that starts with it.
- Spelling: spin and give a word of five letters or more that starts with it.
Questions
Can I use the full alphabet?
Yes. Add Q, X and Z to the list and every letter is in.
Can I stop letters repeating?
Yes. Press Remove Winner from List after each spin. For a game like Scattergories, that means each round gets a fresh letter until all 23 have been used.
