Chore Wheel

    Winners

Spin to share out the household jobs. Nobody can say it was unfair when the wheel decided.

Setting up a weekly chore rota

    1. Replace the list with the jobs your home actually needs doing.
    2. Each person spins in turn and takes the chore it lands on.
    3. Press Remove Winner from List so each chore is only given out once.
    4. Keep going until every chore has someone. Press Share Link to This Wheel to keep the full list for next week.

    Keeping it fair

Not all chores are equal. Cleaning the bathroom is a bigger job than watering the plants. Two ways to even it out:

    • Split big jobs into smaller ones: Clean the toilet, Clean the sink, Clean the shower.
    • Pair them up: one entry for Clean the bathroom and water the plants, and so on.

    Chores for kids

For younger children, use short, clear jobs they can finish on their own: put toys away, lay the table, match the socks, feed the pet. Older children can take on vacuuming, washing up and taking the bins out. If you need to split the family into teams first, use the team picker wheel. For what to cook, try the food wheel.

    Questions

Can I put people's names on it instead?

Yes. Put names on the wheel and spin once per chore, or use the wheel of names. Either way works.

How do I stop the same chore going to two people?

Press Remove Winner from List after each spin, and have each person spin in turn. The 12 chores run out evenly, and the wheel is full again next week when you reload it.

Can I save our chore list?

Yes. Press Share Link to This Wheel after a spin and bookmark the link.
